Current News and Events

Nature Center Re-Opens November 1st: The Baytown Nature Center experienced the loss of a number of large oak trees during Hurricane Ike and also suffered significant damage to fishing piers, observation platforms, and the Children's Discovery playground.  Clean-up and repairs are well underway and the nature center will re-open on Saturday, November 1st.

Friends of The Baytown Nature Center invite you to become a part of history!

You can become a unique part of the Avenue of Nature and have a paving stone inscribed with your name or with the name of a person you wish to honor.
